All fourteen blanks for this project where hand shaped by Empire shaper Steve Croft and finished by the Laminations surfboard factory. The foam used is made from 30% vegetable matter and and the boards are laminated using a resin that is 98% vegetable matter. most of the materials where sourced within 10 miles of the laminations factory where the boards were constructed.
These unique artworks will be auctioned as part of Bonhams world-renowned Urban Art auction on 23rd October 2008. The Urban Art auction will be held at Bonhams’ New Bond Street salerooms and consist of a select collection of street art, including these 14 eco-surfboard artworks. All profits from the sale will contribute directly to supporting ongoing SAS campaigns.
